UCSC students have many opportunities to study abroad! 

There are options to participate in summer, quarter, semester, or yearlong academic programs abroad.  Most students study abroad sometime during their junior year.  However, there are also options for sophomores, seniors, transfer students, and graduate students!  On select programs, students may study abroad the summer after their first year. 

• Most students study abroad through the UC Education Abroad Program (EAP)

• UCSC students may participate in UC Summer Abroad programs offered through other UC campuses

• Students also have the option to Study Abroad Independently for transfer credit

Programs Abroad Advisors & Peer Advisors are available assist with program selection, and to help UCSC students incorporate study abroad into their academic plans.  Students are encouraged to explore study abroad options and begin planning for study abroad during their first year at UCSC.
